About the Role
Integrated Healthcare Area Sligo Leitrim is responsible for the delivery of Primary and Community-based Services to meet the needs of local communities.
Community healthcare services are a broad range of services, which, are provided outside of the acute hospital system and include Primary Care, Social Care, Mental Health, and Health and Wellbeing Services. These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to people’s homes.
The post of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM 2) has a pivotal role in service planning, coordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: management of the delivery of a high standard of nursing care, quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development and induction, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.
