About the Role
Corlann is the new name for Brothers of Charity Services Ireland. Corlann provides services to more than 6,000 people each year who have an intellectual disability, including those who also have autism. Funded under Section 38 of the Health Act, we remain deeply committed to a person-centred approach—one that honours each individual’s strengths, aspirations, and rights. Our aim is always to provide, as far as possible, personalised supports that empower people to identify and achieve their own life goals, and to live as valued, equal, and active citizens in their communities.
Requirements
- Possess a relevant level 8 qualification e.g. Social Care, Quality, Nursing, Management, etc.
- Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in people management.
- Have a proactive approach to leading, driving and implementing change with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
- Have strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative with the ability to work on own initiative along with the skills to manage and influence staff in a team working environment.
- Have a strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
- Have a strong knowledge of New Directions Standards
- Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential & day services to adults with an Intellectual Disability.
- Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing services to adults with autism and an Intellectual disability
- Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
- Will be required to meet staff and people supported by the services on a regular basis. These visits will take place outside the normal 9 – 5 time frame.
- Will be required to work a number of weekends throughout the year
