About the Role
Corlann, formerly known as Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, provides services to over 6,000 people annually with intellectual disabilities, including those with autism. We are committed to a person-centred approach, aiming to empower individuals to achieve their life goals and live as valued citizens in their communities.
Social Care Workers support individuals in all aspects of their lives, focusing on their abilities and promoting independence. They assist with daily tasks, help develop person-centred plans, and encourage community participation. The role involves supporting individuals to make informed choices and fulfil their potential.
Requirements
Qualifications: Hold a recognised qualification and have eligibility to register as a Social Care Worker according to CORU registration requirements.
- Hold a full manual driving license which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads
- Experience in working with individuals with behaviours that challenge is desirable
