We are currently seeking highly-motivated Social Care Worker’s to join our team in Enable Ireland Adult Services, West Limerick Hub (Newcastlewest/Rathkeale).
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent Contract
Contract Hours: 39 Hours per week
Annual Leave Entitlement: Annual leave entitlement is 31 days pro rata per annum
Salary Scale: €37,160 – €54,746 per year. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
The post holder will work as part of our dedicated Adult Day Services team, providing social care support to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities, or mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and Autism. The post holder will support Service Owners with their needs, goals and activities in accordance with their individual preferences.

Hold a professional registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU. AND Have a Schedule 3 qualification. OR Have a comparable qualification recognised by Social Care Workers Registration Board. AND Candidates must have the knowledge, skills, and suitability required to perform the role effectively. Annual Registration On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU. Minimum of 1 year's post registration experience working specifically in the specialty of working with adults with Autism. Experience in contributing to the development of personal plans. Experience and knowledge of the role of a key worker. Experience contributing to and implementing behaviour support plans. Experience of delivering personal care. Experience of assisting adults with medical needs/ administering medication. Experience of engaging in professional supervision. Possess a full, clean, manual driving licence. Must be eligible to work in state. Basic IT skills.
