About the Role
Social Care Worker with Team Lead Responsibilities in Laois Day Services. Fixed-term, part-time position (72 hours per fortnight) supporting individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion, and personal health and wellbeing. The role involves encouraging and motivating individuals to pursue their personal interests and life goals. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team within the Laois Services.
Requirements
Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications). Registration with CORU or confirmation of registration process. A valid Full Driving Licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland. Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or behaviours of concern. Excellent organisational, logistical, and IT skills. Suitability as outlined in the job description and person specification.
