Speech & Language Therapist Manager – County Donegal

About the Role

The Rehab Group is recruiting a Speech & Language Therapist Manager to lead and develop high-quality disability services across County Donegal. This permanent whole-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist with a strong background in intellectual disability and leadership who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and supporting multidisciplinary teams.

Role Overview

As Speech & Language Therapist Manager, you will provide strategic clinical leadership while ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based speech and language therapy services. You will oversee service development, provide professional supervision, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to enhance outcomes for people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Speech & Language Therapy services within disability services.
• Provide clinical leadership, governance and strategic direction.
• Supervise, support and line manage Speech & Language Therapists.
• Ensure high standards of clinical practice and service quality.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, service users and families.
• Support service planning, quality improvement initiatives and staff development.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or Master’s Degree in Speech & Language Therapy approved by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
• Current registration on the CORU Speech & Language Therapists Register.
• Minimum of 8 years’ satisfactory post-qualification clinical experience as a Speech & Language Therapist within Intellectual Disability, Autism, Mental Health, Acquired Brain Injury, Physical Disability or Sensory Disability services.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Speech & Language Therapist.
• Demonstrated experience providing formal clinical supervision, line management and strategic clinical leadership.

Salary & Benefits

€90,977 – €100,131 per annum (based on the HSE Speech & Language Therapist Manager in Charge III Grade 3361, 7-point salary scale effective 1 June 2026). As The Rehab Group is a Section 39 organisation, it is not bound by HSE pay scales and the final remuneration package will be determined by the employer. Salary shown is provided as the closest HSE equivalent for reference only.
