About the Role
Staff Nurse (Fixed Term) in Laois Residential Services. Part-time, 12-month contract, 72 hours per fortnight. Support individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. Enhance clinical skills and promote positive risk management, inclusion, and person-centered care. Work with various disciplines and maintain up-to-date records. Essential requirements include developing and implementing Person Centred Plans and Care Support Plans, effective communication, and flexibility within the roster.
Requirements
- On the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, RNID or awaiting registration.
- Excellent communication skills, including leadership, mentoring, support, and supervision.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards and safeguarding and protection of vulnerable adults.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, logistical, and IT skills.
- Flexibility within the roster and a full current manual driving licence.
- Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role.
