About the Role
Avista is a person-centred, rights-based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We provide a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both children and adults in various locations across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary.
Avista is looking for a Staff Nurse for Residential Services at St. Anne’s in North Tipperary/South Offaly. This is a permanent, full-time contract (37.5 hours per week).
Requirements
- Up to date NMBI Registration.
- Full clean Irish manual driving licence.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Intellectual Disability Nurse Registration (RNID) (desirable).
- Knowledge of a person-centred planning and an awareness of new directions (desirable).
- To adopt a holistic and person-centred approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best lives and develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
- Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
