About the Role
Mayo University Hospital is seeking a dedicated and motivated Staff Nurse professional to join the Emergency and Acute Floor incorporating Emergency Department (ED), Escalation, and AMAU services. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic acute hospital environment in the HSE West and North West region. This campaign (Reference: 27MUH2026) is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
Requirements
- Registered as a General Nurse with NMBI or eligible for registration.
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of recent post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting within the last 24 months.
- Strong clinical decision-making and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Details
Salary: €38,166–€56,592 per year
Location: Mayo
Contract: Permanent pensionable HSE contract (wholetime or part-time).
Working hours are based on a 39-hour week (pro-rata for part-time roles), inclusive of shift work and rostered duties.
