About the Role
The Rehab Group is recruiting a Staff Nurse in Limerick for a permanent part-time role supporting people with disabilities. This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and offers a qualified nurse the opportunity to contribute clinical expertise, evidence-based practice and person-centred care within a publicly funded disability service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in line with professional standards and organisational policies.
- Apply clinical knowledge, reasoning skills and evidence-based practice in day-to-day nursing duties.
- Assess needs, contribute to care planning and support the delivery of appropriate interventions.
- Use effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills in clinical practice.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to support high-quality disability services.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold professional, regulatory and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
- Full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- RGN or RNID qualification.
- Clinical knowledge and reasoning skills appropriate to the duties and responsibilities of the role.
- Ability to apply evidence-based practice in a professional nursing environment.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Salary & Benefits
The matching HSE Staff Nurse — Registered Intellectual Disability Nurse grade 213T scale is €38,166 – €54,956 per annum, with an LSI of €56,592, based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 June 2026. As the Rehab Group is a Section 39 organisation, it is not automatically bound by HSE salary scales, and applicants should confirm the actual salary arrangements for this post with the employer. As this position is part-time, salary will be pro-rata for hours worked.
