About the Role

Muiriosa Foundation is recruiting a Support Worker for Intellectual Disability Children Services in Westmeath. This fixed-term, part-time opportunity is based within Lir, a well-established preschool providing sessional care and support to children with additional and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children with additional and complex needs during preschool sessional care.
  • Contribute to a safe, caring, inclusive and engaging environment for every child.
  • Assist children with their individual care, participation and developmental support needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the preschool team.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and other relevant people involved in supporting the children.
  • Bring energy, reliability, flexibility and a child-centred approach to the role.
