About the Role

Requirements
Essential:
- QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent, the award must be considerer elegible for CORU registration.
- Up to date CORU registration/confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU
- Social work experience in the area of services for people with a disability
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence and use of a car
- Proficiency in the English language.
Desirable:
- Experience working within the area of intellectual Disability
- Previous experience of working with people who have behaviours of concern
- Have experience of Person Centred planning
- Have an awareness of HIQA Standards and regulations
- Desire to support people live their best lives
- Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
