About the Role

Corlann is the new name for Brothers of Charity Services Ireland. Corlann provides services to more than 6,000 people each year who have an intellectual disability, including those who also have autism. Location: Woodlands Campus, Dublin Rd. Galway

Contract type: Temporary, Full time

Salary: €36,651–€45,939 per year

Closing date: 2 Sept 2026

Reporting to: Children’s Disability Network Manager (CNDM)

Working hours: 70 hours a fortnight, between 8am – 8pm from Monday to Friday

Annual leave: 23 days per annum

Probation period: 9 months

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Relevant Health Service Skills QQI (FETAC) Level 5, or equivalent from another jurisdiction, or currently employed as a Physiotherapy/ Speech & Language Assistant or in a comparable role
• Personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role
• Fluency in verbal and written English
• Full clean Irish driving licence and use of your own car is desirable

Experience:

• Experience of working with children with complex needs (for example autism, physical & medical complex needs, behaviours of concern)
• Experience in the use of TEACCH, Lámh and other forms of AAC is an advantage
