About the Role
As Training & Development Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to the Training Department, ensuring learning and development initiatives support organisational goals, regulatory compliance, workforce capability and continuous service improvement.
You will:
- Lead and develop the Training Department, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Design, implement and evaluate innovative learning and development programmes.
- Ensure statutory, mandatory and role-specific training requirements are achieved and maintained.
- Drive training quality assurance, compliance and governance across the organisation.
- Analyse workforce learning needs and develop strategic training plans that support organisational priorities.
- Use data, audits and feedback to identify trends, improve practice and enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, managers and stakeholders to support service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Champion innovative learning approaches, including blended learning, coaching, e-learning and reflective practice.
Requirements
You are an experienced learning and development professional who combines strategic thinking with practical delivery. You are passionate about helping people learn, develop and thrive while ensuring the highest standards of quality, governance and practice.
You will have:
- A relevant third-level qualification in Learning & Development, Education, Health & Social Care, HR, Management, Quality, Compliance or a related field.
- Significant experience in training, workforce development or practice development within health, social care, disability or another regulated environment.
- Experience leading learning programmes, projects, teams or organisational development initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory training requirements, quality assurance, safeguarding, health and safety and person-centred practice.
- Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
