About the Role
Warehouse Forklift Driver/Goods Inward - Leixlip Distribution Centre
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Forklift Driver / Goods Inward Operative to join our growing team at our Leixlip Distribution Centre.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, with responsibility for goods inward processing, stock control, replenishment activities, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload inbound deliveries using a counterbalance forklift.
- Accurately book stock into the warehouse management system, ensuring product dates, temperatures, and conditions are correctly recorded.
- Put stock away using VNA and reach truck equipment across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouse environments.
- Replenish stock from reserve locations to picking locations as required.
- Liaise with warehouse and operational teams to ensure the smooth running of daily activities.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety throughout the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and operational standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold valid licences/certification for:
- Reach Truck
- Counterbalance Forklift
- PPT (Powered Pallet Truck)
- Manual Handling
- Have a minimum of two years' warehouse experience, ideally within a food, chilled, or frozen distribution environment.
- Be comfortable working across ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouse areas.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
