The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Addiction Services role at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital offers an opportunity to lead and deliver specialist alcohol and drug services within an acute hospital setting. Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and clinical management within addiction services
- Deliver comprehensive assessment and care planning for patients with substance use issues
- Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams and healthcare settings
- Support implementation of alcohol and drug treatment pathways
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and clinical standards
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and quality assurance
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reporting systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active registration on the NMBI register
- Minimum experience suitable for Clinical Nurse Manager 2 grade
- Experience in addiction services or related clinical areas is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Knowledge of HSE policies and clinical governance frameworks
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale ranges from €62,078 to €78,443 per annum, depending on experience and point on the HSE pay scale.
