About the Role
Muiríosa Foundation is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 / Social Care Manager 1 (Fixed Term) to lead a pre-school service in Portlaoise, County Laois. This part-time role (approximately 1 year, 60 hours per fortnight) will support children with additional needs and their families, focusing on self-directed, person-centred care. The role involves leading and supporting teams, developing child/person-centred supports, and ensuring compliance with Early Years regulations.
Requirements
- Relevant Nursing or Social Care qualification (RNID qualification preferable for nursing; CORU-approved qualification for social care).
- Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
- Knowledge of Early Years regulations for pre-schools.
- Experience in supporting children with additional support needs, including behaviours of concern.
- Proven ability to lead and support teams, with management experience.
- Commitment to developing professional knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
- Full current driving licence and flexibility to meet role demands.
