About the Role
Mid West Community Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (candidate) in Mental Health Liaison Psychiatry to develop the role under the direction of the Advanced Practice Stakeholder Governance Group. The post is designed to enable the individual to meet the NMBI Criteria for Registration as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, as outlined in the Advanced Practice (Nursing) Standards and Requirements (NMBI, 2017).
The role requires the candidate to undertake academic preparation and develop clinical and leadership skills, competencies, and knowledge incrementally. The scope of the cANP role reflects this developmental process and, as such, the candidate cannot deliver care as an autonomous practitioner at this stage.
