About the Role
Health Care Assistant (HCA) at Ballyshannon Community Hospital, Older Person’s Service, South Donegal. The role supports the delivery of resident/older adult care under the supervision and direction of qualified nursing personnel.
The HCA works within a multidisciplinary team including GPs, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Dietitians, and QRPS Teams to deliver holistic, quality care to service users and residents with simple to complex palliative, acute or long-term care needs. The post holder reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 or designated officer and is accountable to the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Director of Nursing.
