Job Overview
The Therapy Assistant Naas role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing high-quality patient and client care in County Kildare. This permanent wholetime position (Occupational Therapy Assistant Grade 6505) supports occupational therapy and physiotherapy services within HSE Dublin and Midlands.
This position is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and is ideal for candidates with recent hands-on experience delivering direct care in a health or social care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- • Support Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in delivering therapeutic programmes to patients.
- • Assist in implementing individual care and rehabilitation plans.
- • Provide direct patient care in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practice standards.
- • Assist patients with mobility, functional activities, and therapeutic exercises.
- • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- • Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive care environment.
- • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- • Demonstrated depth and breadth of recent experience providing direct patient care.
- • Proven experience working in a Health or Social Care setting.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (Occupational Therapy Assistant Grade 6505):
€36,288 – €45,484 per annum (incremental scale)
This is a Permanent Wholetime position under HSE Dublin and Midlands. Standard public sector terms and conditions apply, including annual leave entitlements, public sector pension scheme, and access to professional development opportunities.
Location & Employer Information
This role is based in Naas, County Kildare within the HSE Dublin and Midlands health region, which covers Longford, Westmeath, Offaly, Laois, Kildare, and parts of Dublin South and Wicklow.
Working within community and/or clinical settings, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering integrated patient-centred care services aligned with national healthcare standards.
