Business Manager in Dublin

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Business Manager to join our team covering Dublin & North East & Dublin West & Midlands (travel across a number of locations such as Cavan Town, Co Meath (Navan & Dunshaughlin), Co Kildare, Dublin (Tallaght, Crumlin). Base will be either Kildare, Dublin, Meath or Cavan.

Contract Type: This is a permanent contract. Contract Hours: 35 hours per week

The purpose of the post is to provide business planning support to the Director of Services and Service Managers in the operational and strategic development of services in the designated area. The post holder will have devolved responsibility for management of administrative and business support functions on behalf of the Director of Service in the assigned RHA area. This is a regional operational management function across key business processes which include oversight of Finance and HR processes, IT support, Facilities management, Capital Projects support, Performance and Data reporting and support in Regulatory Compliance in the region. The role also includes oversight of regional sustainability initiatives in the region.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have

Essential Criteria:

• A recognised third level qualification (Min. Level 7) in Commerce/Business/Finance/ General Management/HR Management or related area.
• The right to work in the country.
• 5 years’ previous management experience in the day-to-day operational management of business support functions, including finance, administration, HR, facilities, governance, compliance, risk and performance reporting commensurate with this role.
• Experience of contract management and procurement.

Desirable Criteria:

• Management Qualification.
• Previous experience working with and managing teams.
• Experience of working in the health care sector or not for profit sector.
• Experience in application of Risk Management Frameworks in a workplace environment.
• Experience of HSE service level agreements.

Details

Salary: €59,314 to €77,779 pro rata per annum
