The Facilitator will support individuals to participate in meaningful activities and pursue person-centred goals. The successful candidate will bring a genuine commitment to providing respectful, individualised support and will contribute to programmes and plans designed around each person’s needs, choices and aspirations. This is a rewarding opportunity for a candidate who can work independently, communicate effectively and contribute positively to the delivery of high-quality disability support services.
Requirements
- A full QQI Level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential, such as a qualification in health, community care or a related care sector.
- A genuine passion for providing person-centred support.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Awareness of the Key Worker and Support Worker role and the philosophy surrounding support for people with complex needs.
- Knowledge or understanding of programme planning and Person Centred Plans.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
- A full, clean driving licence is desirable, with a requirement to drive service vehicles as part of the role where applicable.
