About the Role
Corlann is seeking 3 permanent full-time Social Care Workers for Clarin Adult Services in Clarinbridge, Co. Galway. The role involves supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, promoting independence, and assisting with person-centred plans. The successful candidates will work in residential, respite, day settings, or community services, with a flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and night duties. The role reports to the Team Leader, Team Manager, Service Coordinator, or Area Manager.
Requirements
Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration with the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU. A full clean manual driving licence is essential, and a Class D1 licence may be required. Experience with people with intellectual disabilities is desirable. Fluency in English is required. Key skills include leadership, organisational planning, creativity, and a commitment to best practices. The role involves working 78 hours per fortnight on a 14-day duty roster.
