About the Role
Enable Ireland is seeking a highly-motivated Speech & Language Therapist (Staff Grade) to join their team in Limerick CDNT, Blackberry Park, Dock Road, Limerick.
The post holder will provide a range of Speech and Language Therapy services for young people (0 – 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service delivery will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service development, delivered through a family-centred approach across clinic, preschools, schools, children’s homes, and community settings.
Requirements
Essential criteria:
- Be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU
- Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by CORU before a contract of employment can be issued
- On appointment, maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by CORU
- Be eligible to work in the state
- A full drivers licence with access to own transport
Desirable criteria:
- Postgraduate experience of working with children with disabilities in a community-based setting
- Postgraduate experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs
- Postgraduate experience and/or training working with children with Feeding, Eating, Drinking & Swallowing (FEDS) needs
- Experience in conducting Assessment of Need assessments
- Experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
- Experience in working with children on the Autism Spectrum

Contract type: Full-time permanent contract
Contract hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: €43,231 to €63,184 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)
Annual leave entitlement: 32 days pro rata per annum
