The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking applications for the position of Occupational Guidance Officer Grade VII within the Day Services Coordination Team covering Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim. This Occupational Guidance Officer Grade VII role offers an opportunity to lead and support evidence-informed, person-centred services across the HSE West and North West region.
The successful candidate will contribute to integrated service delivery, working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes for service users. Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-informed occupational guidance interventions tailored to individual service user needs.
- Support cross-service collaboration to ensure integrated and person-centred service delivery.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate day service supports across the region.
- Contribute to service planning, development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and national standards.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate records and provide updates to senior management as required.
- Participate in regional meetings and contribute to strategic service developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in providing evidence-informed interventions for service users.
- Proven experience in cross-service and integrated approaches to person-centred service delivery.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary environments.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel within HSE West and North West.
- Relevant third-level qualification appropriate to the Grade VII level.

Location & Employer Information
There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy within the Day Services Coordination Team covering Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim. The post primarily covers County Donegal; however, travel to other locations within HSE West and North West may be required from time to time.
A panel may be formed from this campaign for Occupational Guidance Officer (Grade VII), IHA Sligo/Leitrim, from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies (full-time or part-time) may be filled.
This role is within the Health Service Executive (HSE) West and North West region, serving Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo and Galway.
