The Regional Director Health and Social Care Professions (HSCP) role offers a senior leadership opportunity within the HSE South West region. This position is responsible for strategic direction, service delivery, and workforce leadership across HSCP services in Cork and Kerry. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for Health and Social Care Professions across the region
- Lead service planning, development, and performance management
- Drive integration of HSCP services within the wider healthcare system
- Manage budgets, resources, and workforce planning effectively
- Ensure compliance with national policies, standards, and governance frameworks
- Support innovation, service improvement, and transformation initiatives
- Engage with key stakeholders across hospital and community settings
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and patient-centred care
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Significant senior management experience in health or social care services
- Proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities
- Strong understanding of healthcare governance and policy frameworks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant professional qualification in health, social care, or management
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex organisational structures
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €127,468 – €155,793 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent Wholetime, Permanent Part-time, Specified Purpose Wholetime or Part-time
