About the Role
Corlann is recruiting for the role of Day Activity Facilitator in Limerick City. This position is available as both a permanent full-time contract and a fixed-term full-time contract. Roles are available in autism-specific units as well as general intellectual disability (ID) services.
As an Instructor, you will work as part of a team to develop and implement programmes tailored to the individual needs and abilities of the people supported by Corlann’s services. The welfare and wellbeing of service users must be the prime consideration at all times. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, competence in conflict resolution, and the ability to empower individuals with diverse perspectives.
Requirements
- Third level qualification relevant to the provision of services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, or a minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award (Full 8 modules) in community development, health, or education.
- Hold a full manual driving licence qualifying you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads.
- Working knowledge of HSE’s New Directions Standards for Day Services and the Person Centred planning process.
- Fluent English.
