About the Role
Corlann, formerly Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, is seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessment and intervention services to children aged 0–18 years within West Limerick Children’s Services. The role aligns with the Progressing Disability Services Model of Service.

Requirements
Candidates must, at the closing date of receipt of applications:
- Essential:
- Be registered, or eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU
- Maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register and confirm this to Corlann via the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC)
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
- Desirable:
- Experience of multidisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary working
- Commitment to work in partnership with other professional disciplines and service providers
- Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Commitment to ongoing training, development and supervision
- Clinical placement/experience with children with disabilities
New graduates are eligible to apply. If CORU registration is pending, the initial appointment will be as a Staff Grade Occupational Therapy Assistant, supervised by a senior therapist, paid on the Therapy Assistant scale. Upon receipt of CORU registration, the candidate will be employed and paid on point 1 of the Staff Grade Occupational Therapist pay scale.
