About the Role
Avista is a person-centred, rights-based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We provide a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both children and adults in various locations across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary.
Avista is looking for candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a person-centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.
Requirements
- Minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence
- Proficiency in the English language
- Previous experience working with individuals with Disability and complex needs (desirable)
- Desire to support People Live their Best Lives (desirable)
- The ability to be flexible and creative (desirable)
